Job Description

Geneseo Central School is accepting applications for Building Substitutes (K-12).  We are seeking dynamic team players who are willing to work collaboratively with our staff and provide services for the benefit of educating our students.  This will be a 10-month position which follows the school instructional calendar.  Extended School Year opportunities are also available. Salary is $25,000. Health and Dental Insurance is included.

Interviews will begin upon receipt of applications.  The anticipated start date is September 2, 2026.

• Following and implementing the teacher's lesson for that day
• Collaboration and consultation with classroom teachers in advance of their absences
• Participate in building level faculty meetings
• Engage in continuing education and professional learning opportunities 

Job Qualifications

• NYS Teaching Certification preferred
