Long Term Sub - 3rd Grade Elementary Teacher		Geneseo Central School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic long-term substitute (LTS) teacher to join our 3rd grade consultant teacher classroom. This classroom follows an inclusive model, with general education and special education teachers collaborating to meet the diverse needs of all students. The substitute teacher will work closely with the special education teacher to maintain continuity of learning, foster a positive classroom environment, and adapt instruction to support all learners. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the consultant teacher to deliver engaging and differentiated instruction aligned with the curriculum Support students' individual learning needs, including those with IEPs or 504 plans Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional development Implement classroom management strategies to foster a positive learning environment Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and school staff to ensure student progress Attend meetings, if required, to support student learning (e.g., team meetings, IEP reviews) Maintain accurate attendance and grading records during the assignment

Teaching Assistant	Teaching Assistant	- Ability to effectively communicate with teachers regarding students' progress and behavior. - Provide individual assistance to students in small groups to ensure an understanding of concepts. - Strong organizational skills. - Ability to manage potentially challenging behavior and maintain a professional and patient demeanor. - Fostering positive relationships with children and adults in a learning environment. - Strictly adhere to the school's rules and policies. - Ensure the safety of the students. - Assisting students in the use of available instructional resources, and assisting in the development of instructional materials. - Collaborate with other staff.
