Geneseo Central School is accepting applications for daily substitutes.  We are seeking dynamic team players who are willing to work collaboratively with our staff and provide services for the benefit of educating our students.  These would be daily positions with a pay of $110 for uncertified subs, and $120 for those who are certified. Substitute teacher aides will receive minimum wage. 

Interviews will begin upon receipt of applications.  

- Ability to effectively communicate with teachers regarding students' progress and behavior.

- Provide individual assistance to students in small groups to ensure an understanding of concepts.

- Strong organizational skills.

- Ability to manage potentially challenging behavior and maintain a professional and patient demeanor.

- Fostering positive relationships with children and adults in a learning environment.

- Strictly adhere to the school's rules and policies.

- Ensure the safety of the students.

- Assisting students in the use of available instructional resources, and assisting in the development of instructional materials.

- Collaborate with other staff.
